Impelled by the necessity of standard books imparting basic knowledge of Sikh religion to the youth, Ravinder Singh Sodhi has brought forth this small book of 79 pages in an effort to acquaint the youngsters with the basics of Sikh Religion. It is equally relevant for the grown up beginners who are ignorant thereof. The writer bemoans the lack of efforts by the Sikh organizations and institutions which neglected the downhill trend of youth going astray because of ignorance about the sublime massage of the Gurus, their lofty heritage and noble traditions and failed to produce preachers and literature which could halt the tilt towards precipice.
